My theme music - Megan Christner

I would say that alternative rock is my favorite genre of music. Bands like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Coldplay, REM, Incubus, and most important to me, the Dave Matthews Band, are just some of the bands that I would say represent this genre today. I fell in love with the band one day when I went searching through my dad's CD collection (he is the king of music, in my opinion) to find something new to listen to. I found two DMB CDs and decided to give them a listen. I've loved them ever since. I've been to 5 concerts (Concerts are essential to life, they help you feel young and alive "for life is short but sweet for certain.") It's hard for me to choose one song that I call my theme song, I have one that makes me happy called "Two Step" which is where the quoted lyric comes from. It just talks about living life to the fullest and not caring that you'll die one day. My other favorite song is called "Warehouse." Quite honestly, I have no idea what it's really about but I feel like it's about someone dealing with an inner demon. But the lyrics are awesome and the violins make it dramatic. To see it live is a great experience... I absolutely love it.
