What Aurelia means is that she was worried that death would come up to get Marina. “A name I prayed would keep you floating above harm.” Marina meaning ocean, Aurelia felt that this name would protect her. She even called her daughter different names until she was three.
There is no real story behind my name Brian that I know of. I think that mu parents just liked the name. My father always used to joke ( I think he was joking) that they were going to name me Zucchini. But they did call me Bonzo, Because I always would hop around and squirm like a monkey when they would be trying to put me to bed. I personally like my name, I’ve never had another so I don’t know how I would feel to be a bill or a Joe or Rick or Alliwishish. I do get called my last name a lot though, Tyrrell
