If I had to I do not think that I would be able to pick one specific type of music to define myself. I am a person with a whole lot of personality and bunch of different moods; therefore, each type of music represents each feeling I have. I love all music; rap, rock, metal, pop, jazz, classical, and music from the 50’s, music like Frank Sinatra. I think if I had to pick one song that most represents me it would have to be Frank Sinatra’s song “That’s Life”. I love this song and everything about it, it is so true and it is the way I feel about life. He is basically saying that life is going to knock you down a lot, but you can not let it get you down, you have to get back up brush yourself off and keep going. I love that message, and whenever I am feeling down or bad about something that has happened I listen to that song and stop throwing myself a pity party and move on with my life.
The message the song is conveying is not the only thing I love about the song, I also love the time period in which Frank Sinatra lived. I loved everything about that time period especially the music. I feel like when I hear the music it transports me back to that time. I would have loved to live then it seemed like life was so much simpler.
